Dr Placebo

While the Animatrix is not really a series, it is separated into episodes and therefore could not really be classed as a film. Another thing is that one episode was created using CGI (computer generated images) and a few of the episodes do not adopt the style that typical anime do. We did however that the anime enthusiast may find a quick review of this DVD useful, so we decided to include it for those otaku.
The collection of episodes is set between the second and first of the popular Matrix movies and offers an insight into other characters experiences of the Matrix.
Storylines and plot to most of the episodes are at least adequate all of them manage to keep you entertained, especially if you are a fan of the Matrix Trilogy.
The animation and sound vary from episode to episode, as each has a different director and team, and therefore have hugely different styles.
