Dot Hack is the new cross-media franchise consisting of videogames, DVD animes, a TV show and comic books. Each one is designed to coax you into buying the others (of course), but aside from shameless profiteering, the cross media storyline, revolving around a virtual online game, net conspiracies, viruses and the like, sounds interesting. The game features creative talent from 'Evangelion', 'Noir' and 'Ghost in the Shell, so presumably the anime does too. Keep an eye out for this one, and give us opinions, reviews etc...

NGE Director's Cut
Also, more Evangelion news! - The directors cut DVD is to becme available in the UK. It was previously unavailable outside of Japan but it went to America and the guys at ADV have decided that us Brits can have it too! Personally, I can't wait for it.
Neon Geneis Evangelion: Director's Cut is being released in the UK sometime in 2004! It is going to comprise of two DVD's that will be released one after the other, and will show footage that was written for episodes 21-23 on the first disk, which is to be called Resurrection episodes 24-26 on the second and will be called Reborn. Personally, I can't wait.

If you often search the web for anime, or watch that crazy Japanese TV, you might have heard of a show called Colourful. It was originally an anime section of a live-action sketch show, consisting of a few short episodes. What makes this interesting is that it's all about crazy bunch of boys who are always are staring at the young ladies... Sound familiar lads? So the crazy lads are always following these girls around, but do you think the girls are interested? Nope... It's funny because it's TRUE! Now it's been released as a DVD, one disk containing all the episodes, we can all enjoy it! Released in the UK for pervy boys across the country...
