Big O- Mecha
| Megadeuses The megadeuses (mega meaning 'large', deus being latin for God), are giant mechanical robots (think Godzilla). They are fragments of Paradigm's past, and little of their origins is known. As always there is more to these robots than meets the eye, and the mystery surrounding Paradigm's past seem to involve them. |
Big O |
| Big Duo Very similar to Big O (hence the name) Big Duo was a formidable opponent. Also utilising eye-lasers and missiles, Big Duo's advantage was that propellers and a jet booster on each arm enabled it to fly. It also contained two 'super-missiles', which were launched from the legs to deal major destruction. However, it was ultimately defeated in what was one of Big O's toughest battles. Taken in by the paradigm coropration, Bug Duo was rebuilt using parts from the Archetype (below) and was given high frequency drill hands. Piloted by Alan Gabriel, it took over his mind, and flew away, ultimately ending up destroyed. |
| Big Fau Thought to be the most powerful megadeus, Big Fau was Big O's most formidable opponent. It's primary weapon was a whirling drill punch, which could be launched as a projectile, but it was also fitted with twin guns inside its chest, and two tendrils from it's back, which fired high powered laser beams. | Big Venus Appearing at the end of the final episode, Big Venus, seemingly piloted by Angel, had shiny teeth ( not a joke) and caused anything it touched to vanish. In the end, it merged with Big O, and Paradigm city was 'reset' (it went back to the first episode). Odd. |
| Dorothy One Created by Waynewright, Dorothy one was used by Beck for crimes. A metal tendril sprang from each hand, which was of a considerable length and very nimble. They could also wrap up to form a drill on the end of each hand. Nice. |
| Instro Instro wasn't much of an opponent, and it's only real highlight was it's sound-weapon. Lame. |
| Archetype Supposedly the archetype for Big O, it did look similar to Big O when its armour was removed, but there was no real proof. It had no really special abilities, and it's battle with Big O consisted mainly of grappling and punching. |
| Beck Victory Deluxe Beck's custom built yellow megadeus (yellow presuambly being his favourite colour). Not much in the way of power or weapons, this was a fairly average magadeus, fitted with the standard missiles and also with the 'finger attack', where the hands spin rapidly to release a powerful yellow laser beam. |
| Beck RX This was a transformers-style robot, armed with a sort of boomerang-thingy. Despite it's spectacular transformation, it was destroyed by Big O instantly. |
| Leviathan In the Bible, a Leviathan is a word used to decribe a scaly beast, or dragon. This leviathan was a giant robotic dragon whose appearance seemed to be forseen by Schwarzwald as the "manifestation of the people's fears and anxieties". It's claws had the ability to turn everthing it touched into a fine powder. It was this weapon that destroyed it, as Big O forced it to touch itself, thereby killing it. |
| The "3 Foreign Megadeuses" Appearing from the sea in episode 13, these robots had very strange designs (one had its head on one side of its shoulders), and were quite a challenge, surrounding Big O and taking off an arm. Their main power was an electrical attack, which was highly powerful (and painful). However, after Roger's "Tramp Flashback" , they were quickly taken out by Big O's tetherhooks. |
| The Two Headed Megadeus Constructed from two of the "3 foreigners" mentioned above, this robot had two heads (duh) and four arms, two of which were drills and the others were left permanently in the air. The drills were it's primary form of attack, but it also had the electrical attack, only this time far more powerful, destroying chunks of city. However, it was quickly destroyed by Alex in Big Fau. |
